14 Mar 2023. CARES shifted into INCREASED READINESS Operations to support a request by Cupertino OEM to report on damage from an extreme wind event that followed an atmospheric river.

CUP-15-300, Missing Person

24 Nov 2015. CCC was activated and responded to search for an at-risk adult. Five field teams made up of CARES and CERT members searched areas as recommended by the County Sheriff's Office. CCC logged about 55 volunteer hours.


CUP-15-200, Missing Person

21 Apr 2015. CCC was activated and responded over 4 operational periods in search of a missing teenager. CARES logged 138 volunteer hours with the total CCC response about 340 hours.
