3 Nov 2018. This is a 5K run/walk sponsored by the Valley Medical Center Foundation and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office. CCC uses this event to practice tracking the a large number of people moving on foot from one place to another.

23 Jun 2018. ... also known as the CARES Emergency Field Communications Drill, this is an annual event for CARES to practice getting on the air under adverse conditions. This year, we will set up with the City's Preparedness Fair at Quinlan Center with terrific foot-traffic. Various modes were demonstrated including HF, VHF, packet, and Mesh Networking.
